Barb claims all money that goes through the wash.

Trouble is she grabs whatever I'm about to wear and claims it even if I wore a pair of jeans for a couple hours.

Mike, you know to freeze the gum off, right?

Ummm, no. I started with rubbing alcohol, it took care of the minor spots. I used a heat gun to soften and scrape the heavier deposits. For some reason, the isopropyl didn't work on the heated residue. Time for QD cleaner!

Yes, it was a pain in the arse.

Dry ice can be purchased at many grocery stores.
    or
A can of "computer dust-off air" can be turned upside down and sprayed to chill an area.

Try some peanut butter. I know it works to get it out of a kids hair. Never tried it on clothes or appliances yet!

Toss the gummed items in the freezer, the gum should break or scrape off. Done it more than I care to admit.

It would be kinda hard to stick the clothes dryer in the freezer.

None the less, I got it cleaned up with stuff I had on hand. BTW, I learned the rubbing alcohol trick when my mom cleaned some bubble gum out of my hair. After that, I never went to bed with gum in my mouth.

Haha! Chew-away, just make sure you have a jar of peanut butter on hand in the morning! (Great on a slice of toast too as your mom is spanking your behind)!

I learn some things the hard way: Three times now I've had a blue pen from my shirt pocket go through the wash AND dry process.

Hey Jackie, make friends with your deer. This is where my grand daughter takes horse riding.

    Their latest adoption.

Latest adoption: The pony or the deer?

Its really cool to see wildlife up close like that. My preference is to not change the animal's natural state.

We're "casual friends" with many of the regulars that come around! But the number is growing in leaps and bounds! We've counted as many as 11 in our yard at the same time. Yesterday there was a massive buck standing at the bottom of our deck. Annika said to me: "Mom, let's go out side and get a picture". I replied: "He doesn't know us yet. We're NOT going out there". I didn't want to scare him off by even opening the door. I just wanted to look at him! I tried getting a picture with my cell phone through the screen door, but it didn't work out.
