And finally, the FC van ...I would love one of these in ideal shape...exceedingly rare.

James, A current Vice Grip Garage might interest you - at least the intro 30 minutes or so... Prepping an eBay purchased Model A for a 700 mile road trip. Nice carb disassembly / cleaning. Distributor (lightning whirler) disassembly / lubrication / assembly.

Spark plugs should be this difficult. Took all day Sunday but it's running great. It has 89k and this is the first spark plug change; I'm not sold on 100k plugs, they were in awful condition.

Anyone wanna race? Four 3/8"-16 threaded holes perfectly tapped in under 40 seconds. Can your setup beat it?

I worry you're getting bored or running out of content to post. Have you considered taking my money to do some modifications to my sliders to help occupy your time? Just imagine it, some new sweet pics and videos of some sliders, maybe some axle trusses or sway bar mounts on my G-Wagon to post.

Be happy to help if able. If you are serious, call, email, or even pm me (signature is a link to business website) to see when I might be able to squeeze you in. If you wanted it all done at once, the soonest I could get you in would be October-Novemberish. But if you could handle doing it in stages, I could squeeze in some of the smaller projects earlier.

Last time I called you were six months out, I was hoping when I saw that post that things had slowed down enough you could work on some forum member trucks. Was totally serious, but my timeline is way earlier than 8-9 months out. I got wheeling that needs to be done stat and a rig I need to make survive it this summer.

I know you used to wheel and used to sponsor this forum, was hoping you would make some time for some member trucks so you didn't have to post pics of fences because you know that's not what we're all here for.

Aww big bummer that I will be unable to help you this time. Hope I will be able for your next projects, if they allow for some planning ahead.

Thank you very much for the advice! If I was smarter, I would probably take it.

A nice K5 Blazer was out at a park this weekend. A photo shoot with it as background to some people. It does not see any pinstripe trail.

I don't actually know what axles I have Jim, I have never heard of Mercedes people talk about them like I have Jeep, Ford, or Chevy folks. I kind of just assumed Mercedes axles, but now you have me curious.
