    Great Find, thanks for sharing. I found it suprising that the 8.8 is stronger than the dana 44.

    It's not. This is a very arguable point that has been going on for years. This is some ears personal opinion, not fact. I could give you tons of links touting the greatness of each axle but most are based on opinion not fact. Do the research on this before you believe this guy. I'll go with an axle that's been around since the 1940's, thanks!

    I believe the only reason he says that its stronger is because the 8.8 axle diameter is a little longer then the 44. The facts are more the lengths of the axles and that stuff not his opinons on it
