^^Yep, been down there twice (once in Feb and once in March) and it's fairly dry (unfortunately).

I've done Missouri Gulch, Illinois Gulch, Balanced Rock Road, Phantom Creek, Manchester Creek and Rule Ridge (including the Crack Hill loop) down in that area. All very easy trails in the dry and with a little snow on them, makes them more fun.

Also, as of 4/1, there will be some new trails opening off Cedar Creek Road- Longwater Gulch, Hackett Gulch and Metberry Gulch. But you'd most likely be making first tracks in so who knows.

Not "new", just seasonal closures opening up for the season. They are in the Hayman Fire burn area and were closed for years after the fire. They've been back open for a couple years- except for the seasonal winter closures.

Probably pretty good. It's low and it's not seasonally closed on the MVUM.

Yes, that's now closed and off trail thus illegal and subject to hefty fine. Finding mud in CO tends to be pretty difficult.

The MVUMs are hard to interpret. I honestly can't tell if those trails are closed seasonally or not. The designation for closures looks similar to some of the other roads in the area.

It depends on how much snow is on the trail. It's a network of trails that ties into Switzerland Trail, which we did a few weeks ago when there was little snow on the trail. If you do run Gordon Gulch, take an MVUM (just don't trust the trail signs). It can be confusing.

it just snowed about 8 inches in evergreen and a little more in conifer, i would guess that slaughterhouse just got about 10 fresh inches of snow!
