You could steam the wrinkles out of those raggedy T-shirts you wear.
Dude! steamers are great for detailing your cars. cleans vents and stuff great, as well as removeing decals, and all other weird uses.
i get fun with my tools and like to think of myself as a crafty *******. i got a hft steemer about three years ago. fantastic for cleaning the car and i have even used it to repair a few ipad 3's and remove/install vinyl decals on my old drift car. they also work GREAT for engine detailing, cut oil & grime off pretty well
So today I decided to take off the fender flares to see if there was any rust. Lucky there was not any. Eventually I'll get the fenders trimmed so it looks better but for now I can live with them how they are. The Comanche just needs a wash and it will look way better.

It looks to be in great shape Dante, glad the rust is superficial.
Sorry that this thread hasn't been updated in a while due to me being in high school and having barely any money. I got my first job so the plan was if I get enough money to get a lift, driveshaft, gears and some used tires. BUT there seems to be some transmission issues. So if will see if I can figure out whats wrong somethings lose or just totally busted and fix that or just replace the whole trans sense the thing is older then me. I figured I'd update this for anyone who was still interested in this build

Don't sweat it Dante, building is a life long obsession!

In the first 8 years with my Jeep all I could afford was a lift kit, tires/rims and after about 5 years even a spare. Eventually I had the little things done to make it reliable and was ready to start upgrading things. It comes in time and you have an early start at it. I was 25 before I began my build to get it to where it is now and it was/is my first build.

While you are under there, look for the build date on the T-Case tag. 1990 and older will have a 21 spline input shaft, 1991 and newer will have a 23 spline input shaft.
Hopefully you will find something that is cheap and easy to repair.

Yes, the higher spline count is stronger.
What is more relevant, is having parts that fit together. When you go in the self service yards, ask for an interchange list. They will print off a list of vehicles that use the same part, and where they are set in the yard.

Not much of an update just took my headliner out to redo it sense it looked awful. No pictures as of yet but will upload some soon as I find the camera. Looking to take off the plastic bedliner tomorrow and I believe I will be getting paid this Friday so I will have lift coming soon!
Sounds pretty sweet! What lift did you end up deciding to go with?
With my budget Im going to go with BDS 3" sense I don't quite have the money nor know how for a SOA lift. I'm sure I could get some of you to help me but also this is going to be my DD for a while so I wanted better clearance but also something that would work good on road too. I'll eventually do a SOA with 33" but for now 3" will work sense I wont be doing any extreme offroading!
