"Remember when cars were simple and easy to work on? Those were the days."
I sure do!! Thats why I own two of them!
My Explorer is fairly easy to work on mechanically. Any computer or sensor related issue ups the ante of course. I also have a 2004 Saturn VUE that has been very reliable with only wear and tear items in its 100k miles. It does have 2 computers- an ECU and a BCM that could really screw me if they ever go out. My 2012 Escape looks to be easy to work on, but haven't had the opportunity yet- and I better not since it's less than a year old. I changed the oil in it once so far.
Just noticed this today...
Please. If you're too lazy to peel off the old sticker, could you at least apply the new one over the old one???
"Good grief, Charlie Brown"
Jackie you must be a angel ,I would have all ready blown a gasket and contacted the regional manger about "Buttercup" and his posse. LOL sorry you did not make the china wall run, it was cold but whelling a easier trail in the snow does add excitement. but it was fun, let him know you are posting this on a forum maybe, the local dealer in the springs I get parts from always says bring it in and let are professionals look at it for you, LOL . see you this summer on a run
Crazy Jackie, just crazy! The term 'Stealership' really hits home! I actually have an issue with our Jeep too, when I remote start it, there is a small puddle of washer fluid on the ground. I have looked at things, all looks ok/good other than the fluid on the ground. Next 'free service' at the dealership I plan on bringing this issue up.
Edit: the stickers are a waste, because my Jeeps computer system reminds me when it is time for servicing right?
Edit: the first thing I did when I bought mine was remove the emmissions sticker and the sevice reminder sticker
sucks about your dealer experience, its never to late to learn how to wrench on your own rig
As far as that tire goes, as long as no cords are showing, with that much tread left i would not hesitate to use it.
