FR4x4 Rescue List - Availability issue

The list submission layout has several items to fill in. One of them is:
"Availability: (generic days & times to contact or NOT contact)"

I'm thinking the word "availability" should be changed to a clearer heading: "OK to Contact"

Some folks, in making submissions to put themselves onto the list (Thank You), comment that they are only available to hit a trail for help at certain times - and even if they list themselves as available they might not be available at the specific time called. None of us are guaranteed to be available to hit a trail when a call comes in. I'm listed as "24x7" but there will be times I'm out of state and obviously can't pitch in.

I'd like to change the "Available" heading to an "OK to Contact" heading. I'm OK with someone looking for help to call me 24x7 and 3am or 10am is fair game for a call to come in. I might be out of state and can't help, but it would be OK to give me a call and find out. Some folks might not wish to be called/texted/emailed at certain times (don't wish to be awoken, etc) and that's fine too.

The thought I run with: What times of the day / days of the week would it be OK for someone to call me to see if I'd be able to help out.

What say ye... Change "Availability" to "OK to Contact"? Other suggestion?

I think most of us understand the availability aspect, but, ok to contact sounds better. Makes it sound like a possibility rather than a 'for sure' like a tow company. Just having options is what we are trying to provide .

Is this list posted somewhere I'm missing? (or just being created?) Feel like I came in in the middle of an ongoing conversation, but can't find it

If we're signing up to BE rescued, I'd say count me in for weekends, most of them, a few times a day.
I just about needed some real help a few days ago due to some ice I underestimated near me... ended up sliding off the trail. (I knew consequence was minimal, and took the chance... but it still freaked me out) That got me thinking about who I WOULD call if I needed some real help. Hopping on here & sending galcierpaul a PM was the only thing that came to mind

If we're signing up TO rescue/ help, I'm nearly always close by, and always willing to help on any trail in Clear Creek. I can't imagine ever telling someone no.

Agreed on the OP, someone can call me any time (someone calling at night better have a good reason... but someone calling at night in the mountains odds are DOES have a good reason.) Can't say I'm for SURE around, but if I am, I'm not likely to say no, no matter what it is.
Somehow with all the stuff I do I've never (knock on wood) been the one in need, but if that day ever comes, I'd sure want folks to do the same for me.
