trouble posting

I've had a lot of trouble posting here lately, everytime I write a post and submit it the screen locks up, windows checks for a solution and it reloads a blank page with my post gone. I've been copying my text and pasting it into the new window, about 1/2 the time it takes. It happenned right around the time of the virus, maybe after I deleted Java?? any ideas?

Adobe's Flash software has been, recently, causing lockups for many. The solution is to download their Flash Uninstaller Tool (it seems it's more complete than a standard Uninstall Program option) for a complete uninstall of the product, reboot, reinstall.

Download it, run it, reboot the computer, visit Adobe's web site to install the current Flash version*, test a post here to see if the problem is resolved.

* Be sure to uncheck the "Also Install" unrelated junk Adobe pushes out (Google Toolbar / Google Chrome / etc) via the Flash Download page.

I have uninstalled Java and have no problems. Try Jim's idea with the Flash.

oh, and in the mean time, I found that if I wait long enough and dont let the browser recover, it will eventually push stuff through. SOmetimes takes a while, but good for when you forget to copy a long response!

Um, a subtle note - the issue I'm focusing on is Adobe's FLASH. Nowhere am I recommending anything with Java on this. In my world of PC support, Adobe's Flash is the likely culprit for the issue listed.

I've done nothing and I'm posting easily. maybe it was a bandwidth issue or something? I guess as long as it's gone, who cares...
