Adopt-a-trail Cleanup #2

Since time is closing in I'm calling it for Sept 8th as suggested by Gary who will lead Barbour Fork and Brad said Saturday's are good for him. I'm posting it as a planned run.

I just finished catching up on my admin emails from people who found their accounts deleted due to inactivity and it reminded me of all the people that will be deleted at the end of the year for not making a single run this season.

This is a run so those of you that are at risk of being deleted and don't want to be deleted may want to participate in the cleanups. Both are stocker friendly and pretty close in trails.

Hoping I've got my new t-case, f diff, and new steering all in by then. All came way late, broken, and wrong... hopefully this time they'll show up in better shape!

Wow. Interesting that there is a week to go and not a single yes other than the leaders.... Come on all. Make this thing a success.

It looks like we're at the point where pleading for people to volunteer is needed. 181 active members and the leaders are the only volunteers is sad if not pathetic. We may just pass on the trail cleanup agreements next year if so few people see any need to volunteer.

Even if I'm not put back together by then (I REALLY should be) I'm up for riding along & helping. I'm always happy to help take care of my backyard runs (well... that's more front yard, but whatever...)

Trust me Rick, I don't discount the time work takes from everyone's time. I'm simply expressing the frustration I feel nearly every time we're looking for volunteers for these clean-ups. I can't make this myself so maybe I don't have any room to gripe.
