Hello to the Front Range 4x4 Community,
My name is Levi, I live in Thornton, I am new to the club. I am very excited to be a part of a group that enjoys to get out and see all of the things our beautiful state has to offer. I am currently driving a 1973 Jeep CJ-5 that is lifted, 33/12.5 tires, ABR front and rear lockers, 360 V8, 4 speed T-18 Transmission, Dana 30 Front, Dana 44 rear, 4.56 gears, Warn 8274 8000 lbs winch, rancho 8000 shocks. I have been working on the jeep for awhile, made the rock sliders, t-case guard, front diff guard, rear tire carrier, and bumper.
My birthday was 08/02, My friend Dave from Burlington and my friend Steve (human GPS ) decided to go and do Moon Gulch / Moffat tunnel for my birthday. I meet Jim, Paul, Heather, Cole, Ray, Max, etc... on the Moon Gulch run. I was broken down (starter solenoid sticking) and the club members stopped and helped me get moving again. Jim was able to jump power to the solenoid and the jeep fired up. Thanks to everyone that stopped and helped.
I will post pics of the jeep soon.
Thank you for making me a part of the club. My biggest problem getting the jeep out, was to find somebody to go with. I think I have this problem solved now.
