Finally got my CB in, just need to get it tuned up. I also got some rubber grips on the sliders.

Firestik dome mount, firestik medium spring, firestik quick disconnect, 18' firewire, 4' firestick firefly, and a cobra CB.

    In red of course

Walmart in the towing section, they are stair grips that I cut thinner to fit better.

Been a long time coming now lol. Locker is in, everything is in spec, and axle is ready to go back in, but this weekend I got to get the timing belt and other assorted maintenance on the Miata to get it ready for commuting

Got the axle back together and filled, so some night this week I will have a buddy over and lift it back up in there and 90% of the job is done!!! Sprayed it with a rubberized protectant and then the obvious choice of red.

The trooper is up and running, and the locker seems to be working. I need to get into some dirt to really test it out. Very glad I did the front and not the rear. I would hate to have one of these under power all the time on dry pavement. Even with the "ratcheting" action it is still a bear to turn in 4wd. I will definitely spend the extra for the ARB air locker if I lock out the rear.

Got the Rear fenders cut and rolled today, I may need to find a way to put some rubber on it, I think if the tire still hit it now it has the slits to catch the tread. I will try to get some better pics once the paint is dry and I can get in there.

Hmmm, a lunchbox locker in the front is going to give you some trouble, consider moving it to the rear. I ran one in the rear for years and was pretty happy with it. Wheeled with a guy who had one in the front and he ended up unlocking the hubs to maneuver on the rocks. Just my

My carriers are different from front to back so that would be a no go. I will know after moab if it was a good investment or not. I have only seen a few guys on PlanetIsuzoo that didn't love um.

Well I learned a lot out at Moab, had a great time but the trooper might be out for a little while. The front locker put to much stress on the steering and snapped two tie rod adjusters so until I can get some HD ones made I don't feel comfortable taking it on trails. I have a descent list of parts to get for this next year and can hopefully be back on the trails soon. I hope to be at GoneMoab again next year and the plan for that will be for this next year.

    1. HD tie rods, with spares
    2. Regear my T-case
    3. rear ARB
    4. Debating on removing my front locker and going back to open until I can get the ARB.
