Default China Wall and part of Metberry

Needed to go out for a shakedown run make sure all the steering work I've done recently works as it should. Nothing crazy. Had a great time. Was only able to do part of Metberry before had to turn around due to low fuel. Next up on the list aux fuel tank!

Next up on the list aux fuel tank!

The Ford van fuel tanks are supposed to work just fine cross ways between the frame rails. I believe that these are 22 gallon tanks...Should be able to Google what works best and cheapest easily enough.

Here is an 18 gallon F 150 swap link:

NOS Blazer 26 gallon diesel tank swap:

Very detailed write up on a NWMP tank install with wiring and pump relay info:

Thanks for the report and pictures!

Thanks Chase! I bet the difference between the frame rails is very close, too.

Thanks Pete I had found that 17ga ford swap before and that was going to be my starting point, but now you had to go and throw that 26ga GM tank into the mix! So now I'm going to have to find which blazers came with those 26ga tanks. If I did that swap my combined capacity would be ~42 gallons, and a range of ~610 miles.

Thanks for the info Chase, if finding the bigger GM tank proves to be a problem I'll look into an Isuzu tank. Like Pete said the frame rails should be pretty close. Actually I think I have read about someone putting an Isuzu tank in their Toyota. I'll have to see if I can find that again.

I believe they were in most S-10 Blazers if I'm not mistaken.
