Default build that way for a reason

aparently manufacturers put tops and doors on vehicles for a reason. Who knew?

oh, and turns out my scout actually fits in the garage with the top off. Maybe I should have figured that out yesterday...

Wow, never seen that happen on the inside before!

One winter in Oklahoma I came out to find my truck completely covered in ice one morning, about 2 inches thick. Looked like someone dipped it in clear plastic.

Oh Man! Thats a drag. I had my doors off and ran out first thing yesterday morninig and put them back on in P.J's, just to avoid such a mess. You need to keep a tarp handy

yea, I almost tarped it last night, but I didnt think it was going to get this bad. Now that I know if fits in may garage it might have to spend rainy days in there this summer though.

Putting the real doors back on with the windows up would have helped a ton. Unfortunately its just a little too much work to be swapping them back and forth all the time. I knocked all the ice off the dash so it wouldnt melt into the electronics, and scraped all the snow out of the inside. Its sitting in the garage now with the heater running so hopefully I can get it dried out for tomorrow.

didnt seem to. I broke most of the ice off before it had a chance to melt, and dried it off with the air gun. My windshield wipers wouldnt work this morning, then worked when I got home, so I dont know if that was related to this or just coincidence. Everything still works great though!
