Default 2000 Jeep Wrangler Kory's Jeep Build

So in September of 2011 I bought my 2000 Jeep Wrangler. The body and 3 speed automatic transmission had 125,000 miles on it. It came with a Dana 35 rear and a Dana 30 front with 3.07 gears. It also came with the following mods:

4.6L Golen Stroker motor with 1,000 miles on it.
5.5" Rubicon Express long arm lift.
35" Micky Thompson tires on 15" wheels.
After market skids included were the steering box skid, tcase skid and gas tank skid. I am not sure who made them.
It also came with $3,000 in stereo equipment. Two 10" subs, 1000 watt amp and 4 new speakers.

    Today the build began

I found out about Josh at S.F.F customs through people on this forum and Craigslist and from there it went all down hill.

I had Josh mod up a rear 8.8 ford axle for the rear with new brake pads, rotors, and e brake shoes along with a Detroit locker. He also re-geared the front Dana 30 and put Solid diff covers on both axles. Pics below.

My future mods at the moment include trussing the front Dana 30 and putting in a Detroit tru-track in it with chromoly shafts. I also want to upgrade my steering with something a lot beefier. Then I want to bump up to 37" tires. Now when I say future mods I mean before I die because if I don't win the lotto or rob a bank it won't be happening any time soon.

The Solid diff covers might not be the best out there but they are strong and you can't beat the price.

I did quite a bit of research also and my conclusion was basically they are middle of the road when it comes to their strength and for $70 each shipped you can't beat it IMO. I am very light on the skinny pedal so paying double that for a top of the line is not needed. I don't plan on bashing my diffs on anything hard enough to require a diff cover that will take a shot from an elephant gun.

It has almost 6,000 miles on it and it's running strong with no issues. I hope it stays that way.

My only complaints would be that it requires 10/40 oil with a zinc additive and 91 octane fuel. That is my own fault for having those complaints not the motors fault.

So this was not apart of the plan for this week while I am on vacation but I came across an excellent deal this morning and decided to jump on it. I went ahead and had the stock TJ hollow tie rod removed and put on a stock V8 ZJ tie rod which is much beefier and solid.
