Great pics and report. Really wish I could have been there.

Yep, the normal noises are still there but the other noise went away.
Thanks again for crawling under my Jeep, in the water, to try to find the noises Pete.

Hey, you are welcome. It was only a little damp....
Speaking of noises..I thought I had finally got my mystery noise sorted out. We were at some point on the trail and I heard it again, although not nearly as bad. LaDawn goes, "WHAT WAS THAT??!!". I reply, "That was the noise I have been trying to fix. Not a big deal now as that was minor compared to what it was before. It used to be a "WTF??!!" and now it is only a "Hmmmm?"
We all know that LaDawn keeps you on a short lease, so she can keep you from getting confused with an escapee!
No kidding. It is amazing what an invisible fence, collar and 'no bark' collar does in the right hands....
Yesterday sure was a perfect day for getting out on the trail. Great weather and great people = a great day! I enjoy that trail and was enjoying all of the water spots on it. I know the water levels were down from the last time we ran it, but pretty sure there were a lot more spots on the trail with water.
Looks like a great time!! Sorry i missed this run ...Dealin with life issues.....Im going on the Wheeler Lake trip though !
Great Day! Good to see everyone, we have a great group of folks on FR4x4. Happy we all made it through without any major issues. Nick rocked the stock XJ for sure.
Here are my pics...

I love the photoshop on Pete's plate, ha ha!!
For those of you that saw the aftermath of the motorcycle accident on the way down from Ned...I finally found an article on it this morning. The girl (22 years old) is fine ("minor injuries") - she was wearing a helmet and full leathers from what I read, and crossed over into oncoming traffic, but the car that hit her saw it coming and was almost at a complete stop before she hit them head-on. Whew.
I was actually looking forward to meeting the group, but hiking through the bush, hunched over, casting to fish under low hanging tree branches did Rob in! He didn't get much rest the night before either. By the time the second group passed us by, with the other club in the middle, he realized that was a sh!tload of rigs and he wasn't feeling it, can't say I blame him, although I made him stop toward the end again so I could fish some more.
Maybe next time!

It's no wonder you guys get along with LaDawn so well. She makes comments like this, too, and also thinks her humor is the best around.
I really think that, rather than 'wrinkles' (had a boxer at one time called "Wrinkles" which just adds insult to injury...) or "The Man", the plate should read "Mr. Sensitive"
HAHA...got a laugh when I saw that....
I'm still putting together some video and pics of the wheeling from MSV. Here's a short video of the Aspens on our way back to Idaho Springs
