It's a bit of a hike from highlands ranch to Nederland but we should be able to be up there before 10am.. Give me a give ring on my cell... 757-319-7197. I'll have the CB on as I get closer too.

Snow conditions unknown. I'm not too interested in bouncing my Jeep off of trees so if it's nasty, the fallback plan is Gordon Gulch or Miller Rock.

A little snow could be fun, but I'm past the winter wheeling and ready for spring/summer wheeling...to much snow means the top has to go back on. So let's give it a look and adjust accordingly?

    Rob, you in for tomorrow?

    My thoughts exactly. Agreed.

If you go up Golden Gate canyon it puts you almost right where Pickle Gulch is. Going up to Nederland adds a lot of unnecessary distance, especially if you plan on going up Boulder Canyon. Go south on 119 (peak to peak) at the top of Golden Gate canyon and Pickle Gulch is on the right after the school.

I think I'm out. Gotta save some gas money for the cleanup run. Our small brown dog just had four teeth pulled and the rest cleaned. Not sure how hard that's going to hit the wallet.

I really liked that trail in mid-summer! Fun stuff! Not sure it will be open right now, but wish you the best! Have a blast and post pics!

Pickle gultch was fun the last time I did it, those deep mudbogs that were like stairs were pretty fun going down, until someone got VERY stuck.
