Very nice! There are companies charging lots of money for iPad holders.

Thanks guys! I was online looking for a holder and noticed it was kind of expensive to buy a setup.

The bracket snaps on and can snap off in 2 seconds, but there's access to the stock stereo if I just wanna leave it on. I can still adjust the volume on the stereo from underneath with the iPad in place. I'm using it for GPS and music in the front. I'll need to build something in the back seat for my kid to watch movies too. I've been playing with it the past few days and so far it works great!

Very cool, much fancier than my iPad mount - I use a mini bungee cord.

Thanks! It's funny that you say that. After hitting up a bunch of stores for a TV wall mount, I can home and made one of those last night. I wasn't gonna pay $80-200 to hang a TV on the wall!

Sorry Stephen but I haven't added it to my build thread yet because I know the masses will steal my idea. I've retained a high buck patent attorney to work with me and he tells me I should keep it under wraps until he has my concept protected. Apparently it won't take any more than 16 years and a $600,000 retainer.

However, being generous I will share my prototypes currently in four colors.

PS, yours looks great! Well done!

Very nice! I keep at least 2 bungees in my Jeep at all times!

*On a side note - your mount inside the jeep beats the hell out of my cb mount - 2 pieces of electrical tape ROFLMAO!!!! Like I told Matt yesterday - it does the job, stop laughing so hard! "

Don't knock it! Your electrical tape CB mount is the beginning of a fabrication addiction! That's how we all start, well, usually duct tape, but you know what I mean!
