3rd Annual Anniversary Run - China Wall

Where everyone camped last year was in a pretty open area that was clear of close by trees. There were quite a few people who planned on camping that night and it looks as though there are going to be quite a few camping this time around, too.

There is also quite a bit of standing dead aspen in that whole area, so campfire wood isn't a problem. I would be more worried about building a fire ring in such a manner that sparks don't go everywhere because of the wind, which there will surely be some of. I am not a big fan of those stupid (read: amateur) camp fires where you have to stand back 10' because they are so damn big either, so my fires are pretty tight and contained in such a manner that sparks aren't too much of an issue.

Well I am out of the maybe sectioin and going straight to the nope section. I have to make a run to Kansas on saturday.
I am so fed up with others making decisions for me!

I was sent home today...they thought I was too pale and ill to work. They were right. If this is a reaction to recent vaccinations and I am fine, I will be there tomorrow. If it is not, and I have germy and sickly, then Hugh will bring the buns and potato salad to the meet spot in Conifer.

Should be very nice! Last year I think a number of people got up, looked out the window and went back to bed. The drive wasn't encouraging either but once we got to CW it was a beautiful day!

We're on CB Channel 4, right? I just loaded fresh batteries into my cheapo hand-held, plus I'm bringing a pair of walkie-talkies (with fresh batts) in case anyone wants to borrow them. Just let me know. See in the wee hours!!!

Well, the Brat is out for tomorrow. Having problems with the newly installed SPFI. So it looks like I'm going to have to sit this one out. I guess I should have waiting until this coming week to try modifying my vehicle.
