Colorado, Nevada, Mojave. Take your pick. In the end, you can pick up the striping in some of the best locations in the country. OR not.

Thanks guys for the compliments. I still have a few things to button up and then it's ready for the trail. I have to finish the new traction bar, reconnect the lockers, install tailgate, rear seats, rear bumper, sliders etc

Got a new drive shaft in. I'm pretty sure the old one was bent while contacting the front skid. Gonna be clearancing the skid plate before it goes back in.

With Moab trip coming up this weekend (still hoping we can get some more to join Trent and I), it was time to swap the carb jets to one size bigger. I've been running 47 jets which work really well here in Colo at the high elevations, but Denver is kind of the bottom limit - if not pushing it a bit too low. So swapped in the 48s last night and should be good to go for Moab (4000') and will leave them in throughout the winter and spring here in Denver. Will swap back to the 47s next summer when the high elevation trails open back up.
Why would you want electronically controlled TBI when you can have this kind of fun...

On my way back from Moab - picked these up off CL posting in Grand Junction.

They are BDS 2.5" lift leaf springs unused with sticker still on them (and hardware). Not 100% sure they are going to work in terms of the amount of lift to clear my 33s. These are generally the most popular leaf sets for the early cj crowd - and if they clear properly, should provide lots more flex and articulation than what I am running now (unknown stiff leaf springs - probably Rancho kit). Overall measurements of the eye to eye length and true spring length also suggest these should be a little longer than what I have currently, and that should help push the shackle from my currently undesirable vertical alignment to slightly forward - this should help with droop. Each of these leafs has a low friction sheet layer between them to help with flex, and they are double 'military' style wrap on the ends for more durability.

Hopefully they will provide the needed clearance for my 33s - and I guess I could go just a bit longer on the shackles if needed - as they should definitely provide some additional flex. Now if I can just figure out my leaking radiator.

You should like those BDS springs. Ran them on my truggy and was very happy with them.
