Purdy
I planted one that turns red, one of the things I miss in Fall is red leaves so common elsewhere.

Chris in Florida
Well, I turned the photo, but couldn't delete the other one....kinda a half ass job
i like your style brody.. on the picture manager for my camera it is turned but it didnt upload that way.. and i missed it by a day but the yard was covered and completely red also
Nice
Nice! Our neighbor has a red maple about twice the size. It's in the perfect location... we get to enjoy the view and he gets to rake the leaves!!!
We get plenty of wind... it's a game of waiting for the wind direction to change to determine the winner!
At the house we used to own in Florida, we had 4 HUGE sycamore trees with huge leaves as well as several Oak trees and our neighbors hated us big-time. They hated trees. And they let us know it about every-other day. Our neighbors here just wait for nature to take it's course, then we all go out and clean up and everyone is happy. It's really pretty. The garage gets pretty messed up if we leave the door open, but other than that... whatever... We like the color!
we just wait for most of them to fall in the yard then mulch it with the lawnmower..... and leave the rest alone ...
Those trees that the leaves turn red are great, We had a Japanese Red Maple and I loved it for the color. Here at the our new home some of the leaves actually turn orange before going yellow or red, kinda cool.
I have family that lives in southern loiusiana that has never seen or touched real snow or seen leaves chanjging colors. I like a 4 season state like here.
