"You and the endless seat search matt. One day you'll find some!"
Yeah I think i'm either gonna go with the Corbeau Baja RS or ProCar Sportsman.
I have some left over Grace Ice and Water shield for roofing, also known as Bitchothane in the trades, that works extremely well for putting over patches like this to seal them. The same stuff is used around windows in a narrower roll, which I also have some of. Both can be found at Depo or Lowes, but it isn't cheap. If you aren't going to be up this way for a bit, stop at places where there are people doing roofing and see if they have some some scraps. It looks and feels more like rubber and is used a lot on better homes.
mmm its a temp patch that hopefully lasts about 5 plus years lol
So, do you still need the two piece fan shroud? Looks like I will be going to the local junkyard Sunday, so let me know before then and I'll grab it for ya. Do it via my email address as I check that a lot due to work...and more often than I do PMs on the forum.

have to get 2 lil push clips but tomorrow i will se if pounding out the old tank and fixing those parts has made it tight and sealed and just run that pics tomorrow too
ok filled the rear floor with caulk and that is now done got the fan shroud to fit lower on the radiator cause the body lift and it is held on with plumbers strap and yes that one bunjee cord is staying on there to help hold it and after a few hours and breaking two redwood 2x2s me and my dad got the gas tank pounded out pretty well and got some seal it stuff for the pick up ..... the tank so far has held up but there is a small leak on the top of the pick up and we do not know what from (thinking might have done the O ring seal wrong)
pic 1 before pounding
pic 2 after pounding
So now that you got yourself a job, whats next for the blazer?
well since the pick up for the blazer is still leaking alil bit run it low on gas and just cover the whole thing in sealant and say if the pump goes bad (its aftermarket any way) i will just buy all new parts and call it good and then get suspension lift....... then prob need tires then sliders or a bumper
oh and now the blazer is plated and insured soooooooo TIME TO WHEEL ONCE I GET MY FIRST PAYCHECK!!!!!
woohoo, let me know when you want to go. I have Friday and Saturdays off and I am always up for wheelin'
only fri and sat Fox ?? will have to wait till next weekend then since im on overtime this week and work sat
im going to metberry this weekend with the family
ok no pics atm but i got a new gas tank (very nice and clean ) and a lift spring set and even found carpet for the back of the truck
I hope santa brnigs you a camera, cause no pic sucks!!!
well i did a little modification to the front fenders to get some extra wheel clearance since now with the sway bar out (wow its big) it flexes alot more...those of you that more xp feel free to give me pointers or advice
If it was me, i would either cut into it about a 1/4 inch with a grinder, sawzall, portaband, etc. and bend it flat so you have no shape edges exposed, or i would come up with a way to cover it. Less sharp stuff to cut things on the better seems to be a good train of thought on something like this i would think. Plus if your like me one day you'll go to change a tire and bend over funny or start to fall reach out and grab the sharp edge and cut yourself and be even more upset about the whole situation. Then again i see people who leave the cut edge exposed like that all the time so it must not be too much of a concern for others. I must just be a clumsy oaf who rather take the 5 min now then the pain later.
