Re: Ouray - First weekend in August

Hopefully the rain stays away for you guys. We were there first weekend in August last summer and only had 2 days of sunshine. Rained all 5 of the other days.

    Re: Adopt-a-Trail Report

Thanks to everyone who braved the rain today. Itís commendable to volunteer in the first place, exceptional to stick it out through the weather.

Re: Kingston Peak / Yankee Hill Sunday 9/17

Last I did Kingston peak it was not really stock friendly on the flat section up top. We saw large ruts in the trail. My lifted 98 Disco flexed out pretty hard.

Poll: Re: Vote - DC and BF adopt a trail clean-up

What happened to Chad? I have plans both weekends but they are flexible, only that I have to do them on one day or the other. So 2 days is a no go for me. I should be gtg on Devils.

We just got back from the San juans. There is plenty of water flowing in CO. Still a lot of snow to be found.

Re: Anyone Using Satellite Trackers (InReach, Spot)?

With aprs you can get a text message out and also have a last POC as long as someone is tracking your location. Also helps to have a hike out backpack. I built one when I started wheeling. Has...

Re: Anyone Using Satellite Trackers (InReach, Spot)?

Planning on getting one but is low on my list. Mostly want one for traveling outside US as in the US it's hard to be too far from help. I also have a Ham license and plan on a aprs system.

    Re: Coney Flats

The only issue with LR3 is the suspension faults. Did you use extended height mode? I keep a tablet with software on board in case my rig faults. I also run Johnson rods and bigger tires.
