Finished up the platform last night.
  4. Re: Electric car sales have now surpassed stickshift sales in the

Tesla's auto-drive tech is like the Tyranasaurs in Jurassic Park, it can't see what doesn't move, like a stopped semi in the middle of the road.
  5. Re: Electric car sales have now surpassed stickshift sales in the

You're not kidding regarding distracted drivers. I see plenty every day I wish could just turn on the autopilot already.
  6. Re: Electric car sales have now surpassed stickshift sales in the

I prefer an auto in newer vehicles. I used to prefer manuals but the programming in the newer autos has gotten really good and with paddle shifters all you are losing in control is a clutch which is...

Cut a false floor out tonight. Looks like a good fit, next up I need to find some matching carpet. All pictures have been rotated for best viewing while eating tacos or standing on your head.

    Re: Mod For The Day

I'm going add a sleeping platform, put a small fridge where the middle seat was, and some electrical items where the rear seats were.

First up, relocate scissor jack and repurpose it as a support...

    Re: Utah, other than Moab?

Great timing posting that vid. I am planning a 3 week trip with my wife through Utah, Arizona, to San Diego, CA to see her family and do some camping in March. I'm looking for scenic places to go,...

Re: New guy in Parker and new to CO

Welcome, and with a build like that I'm going to venture a guess that you don't shy away from the technical trails. Really good looking rig.

Re: Snow Bashing Yankee Hill Sunday 2/9

I can't make it this weekend. Had my rig at the shop getting new shocks installed but they didn't get it done yet.

Re: Snow Bashing Yankee Hill Sunday 2/9

I may be, depending how the snow turns out. I've been crossing my fingers for snow, but it's only been a 3-4 inches at my place so far.

    Re: New Years day run.

I ended up coming down that ice hill so fast and with my tires turned too far that when I hit the main curve I blew my right front tire off of the bead! Never done that before, but luckily it was a...

  22. Re: Rollinsville/Black Hawk trails this weekend

Works for me. I'm going to try it without chains this time, they took some of the fun out of snowbashing last time around for me. I'll bring a rope and a shovel :D

    Re: 2019-12-14 - Bunce & Ironclads

No 35's for me, I just meant I had heard that on Rubicons 35's fit stock. I have 33.5's. I have only seen one Discovery3/4 with 35s on it, and that was the personal vehicle of a shop specializing...

    Re: 2019-12-14 - Bunce & Ironclads

I wish I could claim those were stock size tires, those are actually the result of a ton of effort, cutting, grinding, swapping calipers, and they still rub a bit. Can't just walk out of the...
