  1. Re: Any interest in running anything North of Denver

Thoughts of possibly running Slaughterhouse Wednesday but it is a far cry from “North of Denver”. A few scenic byways to get around the metropolis are available though.

    Re: Weekend thoughts...?

Let us know how the wagon fares. It looks like Wednesday would be ideal next week but other days might work as well

    Re: Weekend thoughts...?

I’ve never run Slaughterhouse and would be open to it, though it will be day dependent. I’ll keep an eye on the thread.

Maybe something during the week next week. If you want to get the Willy’s out, maybe Dakan to Rampart Range road to Illinois Gulch area, then back 67 through Deckers and Sedalia. There are some...
  5. Re: 2020-05-19 11:15pm - HTTPS / SSL enacted - issues evident?

Here is what I saw this morning from another computer. This makes it a bit prohibitive to use the FR vs. the full name, but no big deal in reality.

Noticed the “return to top” button was absent this morning though not sure it is connected.
  7. China Wall anniversary "weekend" run June 20-21

Looks like the poll landed on the weekend of June 20th. Initial thoughts are to schedule a run of the trail on both Saturday and Sunday (something new) in hopes that more members can attend. Of...

Poll: Re: China Wall anniversary run poll

Maybe it is presented as a "weekend run" with camping on Saturday night. CW run at set times both Saturday and Sunday. There are many nice FS roads in the area to explore as well as hiking trails,...

Poll: Re: China Wall anniversary run poll

I agree on that weekend. It will be crowded no matter how many are there from CFW. I am in that area almost every weekend and the traffic has been very high in volume including M/C's, ATV, S/S's,...

    Re: Gilpin County

Too many don’t pay attention to or care about the rules. Park county has a fire and shooting ban for all public and private land but saw and heard both this weekend.
  11. Re: Theft of $5 Million in CO OHV Funds at Stake!!!

The MJ money might be paying for labor and state jobs require a lot of it apparently. This was taken last Friday, a CDOT job, they were pouring a fill for a single triangle median. Masks were...
  12. Re: Theft of $5 Million in CO OHV Funds at Stake!!!

Actually got a real response on a Sunday afternoon. Besides this one, I got an undeliverable message from Daneya and an "out of office due to COVID" messsage from Rachel.

    "Dear Chris,

    I agree...

Poll: China Wall anniversary run poll

EDIT: per the below, it looks like only the last two weekends in June are options. Please vote accordingly as I cannot see where to change the poll, maybe Jim can assist?

    It sounds like there is...
  16. Re: China Wall anniversary run conversation starter

The traffic in that area has increased steadily over the last few weekends. It may settle a bit once Clear Creek and Gilpin counties open up, at least I am hoping.
  17. Re: China Wall anniversary run conversation starter

As Trent stated, the propane fire pits are normally allowed just like propane grills. Charcoal grills are not allowed.
  18. China Wall anniversary run conversation starter

Thought it might be time to start the conversation. China Wall will be opening next month, will it be too soon to get together for the run? Assuming the “safer at home” status doesn’t cause a new...

They even took an 8N? Must have trailered or he could have chased them down on foot. Originally 6 volt and positive ground, someone is bound to screw it up if all original still. Sorry to hear
