I do plan on camping. We will be there Thursday morning to hopefully get our usuall spot.
We will be running the trail Friday the 6th and Saturday the 7th.

Glad to see everyone made it out OK. My blazer was a full size before I ran Carnage for the first time. Now, after going through several times, is seems a little more narrow due to the body damage...

Just finished pulling the engine out of the tow rig. The machine shop will have it and I should know the price for repairs this week. I may be able to tow my own...
I have been to Holy Cross several time over the 4th of July and have never ran into large crowds. There is usually a hold up at French Creek...but I enjoy watching other people beat on their junk:D....
I plan on wheeling/camping Holy Cross the 6th, 7th and 8th of July.
My tow rig threw a rod or spun a beering...not sure which on yet...so I will have AAA tow my junk there and back :).

I carry a pair of axel shafts for just that reason. The only bad part was that I did not pack any tools in the Blazer so I had to carry them back up the canyon. I had it fixed pretty quick and drove...
The wife will usually stay in the truck for most obstacles. She gets out when it is on its side :rolleyes:

The entire trail took our group of three vehicles about 2 hours to complete.
The weather was great on the trail and I think everyone enjoyed the run...
