Sadly I wish I had the clearance not to need them.
Here are some pictures of Squishee (Chase) at Wheeler Lake. PERFECT example of why you need protection. "Bowling Ball Hill" is a steep, wet, loose rock climb of fun-ness!

Right tool for the right job!
Reviving an old thread to sing some praises.
Went by AA Performance today to get a couple of holes in the exhaust fixed (Flex Pipe was busted, and one of the flanges had broken from the pipe)....
This looks like a great run. I really need to get some sliders fabbed up...
I do wheel alone as well. If I think something is too harry I will just turn around. No sense in getting hurt or super stuck.
Crazy story. Glad you and your rig are ok.
I'm going to camp up...
I would also like to know this as well. Last alignment shop I went to I was less than impressed with their customer service. Alignment was good but if you want my business you need to treat me like a...
Man this looks like a ton of fun!
This was a blast of a trail. Sliders are a must. I came back with some scars on this one due to no body protection.
Interesting. I've never done a recovery/extraction before. Would it be smarter to cut it up like someone said or bring an extra set of wheels and tires and bolt them on so it will roll?
Its good to have people that can come help!
Nice rig dude! Welcome
Those are some awesome looking sliders. I like the kickout too. Very good work. I want a set!
Welcome back, I remember when I first came around was during the whole Wheeler Lake debacle. Glad to see you back.
Awesome Vid. The trail looks fun too. Hoping to get out with some people soon!
Looks really good dude!
Its just some antenna. I was thinking about just getting a firestik and being done with it. Something that is adjustable and known to work would be nice.
Looking forward to the write up.
Quick question about antennas. So I don't think my antenna is tuneable? No screw like the Firestiks. I'm not even sure I'm getting out to anyone. I rarely hit anyone around the city.
I'm using an old Realistic TRC-417
Old but still kickin. Haven't had much of a chance to use it. Can't wait for snow to really melt and get on the trail with some people.

This looks like a hell of a lot of fun. Its crazy how big Matt's Jeep looks next to a stock ZJ. Anyone get super stuck?
Awesome shots! The Pigeon Toed picture should be a profiule picture! Excellent job on the trail alignment. What are you going to replace it with?
Edit: I fear this happening to me, 96-97 Rodeos...
Looks fun! Muddy as hell though.
Damn it. I would love to go do this one. I didn't make it up the last time I tried due to heavy rains. Ill be in Orlando on business until Sunday. Maybe next weekend after that I'll go.
Edit: The...
Wheeler Lake is a fun trail! Sadly my Rodeo suffered some of the same damage on it. No rock guards on my Rodeo and it did some damage to my passenger door. Luckily that door was already damaged and...
How is it? Worth taking a hour trip out there from denver?
