Re: A lesson to never lend your trailer out!

Don't feel too bad, I have a Class-A CDL and regularly drive a tractor-trailer. I have wiggled that combo into some pretty ridiculous places, but the little 4x8 utility trailer behind my Jeep kicks...

Re: A lesson to never lend your trailer out!

Keeping the single car hauler for when only 1 of us is towing. That'll mainly be him. I only plan to tow my Jeep on longer trips to Moab and BV, etc. Most trips I'll still drive it.

Re: A lesson to never lend your trailer out!

That's sort of how I have it with my buddy. There are a select few of us that actually use it and we all pitch together to fix/upgrade the trailer. The same guy and I are looking at going into a...

Re: A lesson to never lend your trailer out!

The damage to the bottoms of the fender might have been fairly hard to avoid once out in JV, its just sucks because it was a new or near new trailer. The damage to the stake pocket and sides though...

    Re: My 2001 Superduty

    Thanks.

Yeah, when it comes to the big 3 diesels it really doesn't matter. Dodge/Cummins, GM/Duramax, and Ford/International. They all have their goods and their bads. Personally a SuperDuty...

    Re: My 2008 JKU Rubicon

I got a 50" light bar from Justin, plus some mounts for them. The mounts came nicely powder coated and fit pretty well. I'll need to get some longer bolts so I can remount the add on mirrors for...

Same trailer. I haven't made any changes to it since that trip other than moving one of the motorcycle chock to the center. I also moved 2 of the tie down points to go through the outer frame...

    Re: My 2001 Superduty

I got my Blue OX gooseneck hitch installed, that was a pain in the ass. Not difficult, just a pain. I need to figure out how to go about remounting my air bags too as the frame mounts on the hitch...

I guess you guys all live in a different part of CO than I do. I've never had a winch tampered with or stolen.

    Re: My 2008 JKU Rubicon

The wheels have a massive amount of back spacing, just like the HMMWV wheels so scrub isn't bad. The book says it weighs a bit over 1500lbs as a complete assembly. The entire housing is cast steel...

Almost got things finished up on the JK.

I ran the power wires for the winch and spoiled up my rope. Then I tackled the LED fog lights TNT sells with the bumper. I cut the ends off the stock fog...
