    Re: Pennsylvania Gulch

Judging from my drive into Boulder this morning there was only a light dusting at that elevation, but really don't know for sure. Doubt there's more than a couple inches.

    Reminds me I went down...

Re: North Fork Halfmoon Gulch - water conditions

I ran Halfmoon on the 12th. Trail should be no problem for nearly any stock 4x4, creek crossing included. It was at most 2' deep, probably less. The gate was open allowing you to drive right up to...

They're at my place in Erie. Or we could arrange to meet in Boulder while I'm at school.

They're 5" and 55w. I probably should still give Chris first dibs, but we were never able to meet up. Just not worth my time to deliver them for how much I'm asking.

Back down on the front range for another semester and all this stuff is still staring me in the face. I want it gone! Make me an offer!
  7. Ellis Jeep Trail report & closure/reroute info - 8/17/15

Last couple days up in Steamboat for the summer, so on a whim I decided to hit the Ellis Jeep Trail. Was riding solo, which I very much advise against with this trail, but I've run the trail multiple...

    Re: Alternative to a chainsaw

Silky's are very good saws, and I could see something like that being very useful for someone who doesn't need a saw that frequently, and just wants something to help with the rare tree in a trail.

    Re: Member Spotted Thread

Saw a white 2 door Jeep (they all look similar to me) with a white FR4X4 decal on some black rocker panels at the Wal-Mart parking lot in Steamboat. Who'd I see?

    Re: Expedition Overspend

I really enjoyed the original few episodes. Those are still worth watching. The Alaska series went way downhill, and while I'm hoping this one will be better, it probably won't be.

    Too bad they...

    Re: Heritage Rough Rider .22

I've had one for years. Basic 22/22 mag. It's been solid without a single issue. Only thing I wish I would have opted for is adjustable sights. Overall I've been very happy with it especially for...

Re: Where is this? -Rocky Mountain Photo Game-

Another hard one as I'm running out of good pics. If no one can guess this in a bit, someone else feel free to post up a picture.

    You might recognize the trail/mountain:

Re: Yankee Hill Saturday April 18

I went all the way through Yankee Hill last weekend from Central City to Alice, including hitting the top of Yankee Hill. There was still some snow, but you guys should have no issue.

    Re: steering/suspension 'clunk'

Could be LCA bushings. Also check to make sure your LCA cam bolts are torqued. Believe they should be around 130 ft/lbs.

Also, normal for the spindle to hit the coil on any lifted application....
  16. Re: What is the longest you can stay on the dirt in CO?

I did a loop last fall of Lost Dog - Farwell Mountain - Hahn's Peak - Little Red Park - Big Red Park - Ellis Jeep Trail - Hog Park Reservoir - Elkhorn Mountain. Don't know the exact miles, but it was...

Sound Ordnance (Crutchfield) M-2100 amp. Details can be found here. Missing one of the little plastic feet, so you can't use a screw in that corner. $40

Re: Where is this? -Rocky Mountain Photo Game-

I've only got a few more correct guesses before I run out of guessable photos. Hopefully by that time however, we'll have started a new wheeling season and I'll have a bunch more.

    Anyways, early...
