    Should I be concerned?

All this rain is making its way into everyone's basements. My neighbor's sump pump has not quit running since Monday. I just checked my sump (again) and it is bone dry. I mean it isn't even humid in...

Re: Peru Creek and Spurs Trail Run Report

Brayton and I had a blast on the trails with all of you guys. Thanks, Tom, for putting it together! It was great to get to meet some of you guys and put faces with your avatars. I hope to be able to...

Re: Peru Creek and some spurs Sat Sept 7

I don't want to end up making the group too big, but i have a buddy who would like to bring his Liberty on this run. Is there room for one more?

I bet the driver needed to change his pants after that.

Re: Peru Creek and some spurs Sat Sept 7

This may be my first official FR4x4 run! My schedule has been pretty hit or miss this summer, but now that the season is almost over I should be able to make it up the mountain. I haven't been on any...

    Re: Do Not Drive!

WTH! There's this stuff falling from the sky. I swear it looks like rain, but it can't be. It doesn't rain in Aurora.

    Re: Peru Creek Sept 7

Wait... What? I think I might be able to make this run! There's nothing else currently scheduled that weekend, and I'll be done with my school work. My family and I are down as a maybe. I really want...

    Re: Do Not Drive!

Must be nice, its bone dry in Aurora. Not a drop of rain (and hasn't been in quite a while).

    Re: Harley vs 30-06

This is all great feedback. Jim, I love your idea of a 24/7 cam. It can easily be justified as a security camera for my own home that happens to have a wide enough angle that it sees their driveway...

    Re: Harley vs 30-06

For humans, the polite neighborly chat probably works great, but I tried that. He immediately got defensive and started in with an ”it's my right” speech.

    Re: Harley vs 30-06

I think that would just torture my other neighbors more than him. I don't think sound affects him. Too much time on a pointless Harley.

    Harley vs 30-06

I am about two throttle revs away from putting a well placed 30-06 round through one of the cylinders of my neighbor's Harley (I haven't quite perfected an EMP ray gun for a more subtle destruction...

Re: Steer me in the right direction.

I think I have come up with a plan. We are going to head up toward Bill Moore Lake with the expectation of being stopped by snow. We will wheel as far as possible and then break out the snowshoes and...

Re: Steer me in the right direction.

I just looked up hanging lake... Oh my God! I think it is a little far to drive for next week, but it is on my list for the summer. It looks gorgeous!

Re: Steer me in the right direction.

So a lot of these suggestions sound great, but I am not sure if they're open yet. I am looking to go next week. So open now or after this weekend is necessary. Or maybe I could plan to hike a closed...

Re: Steer me in the right direction.

Well I'm hoping the hike will kind of be the highlight. So wheeling can be short. But really, a 5 mile in/5 mile out hike is only about a half day depending on how rough it is.

Steer me in the right direction.

I want to take my girl up for a day in the mountains next week. So I need trail recommendations. I want to stay as near to Denver a is reasonable (i.e. Ouray is off the list). I want an interesting...

    Re: LOKKA auto lockers

Yup, it is a ratcheting locker. Which consequently, I don't know how they would behave in reverse. They might be completely ineffective in reverse.

Re: Need to unlock the steering.

Most vehicles are locked near the steering wheel in the column. The easiest way I can think of to get past the lock is to remove the steering wheel and take out the locking plate. To get to the...

That is very interesting. They are certainly welcome to advertise their product however they see fit, but I personally would never put a non-select-able traction device on the front of my vehicle. At...

    Re: LOKKA auto lockers

I have only heard great things about the Aussie Locker, so if this LOKKA is the same animal then I think it will be a great addition to the Jeep. I was planning to put an Aussie in the D35 of a...
