    Re: 4x4 and shooting

Shooting is legal in national forests and on BML land. It’s not a free for all, you can probably find the rules on their web sites. Things like restricted areas, no shooting over bodies of water...

    Re: new pellet smoker

I went with the Jim Bowe. Don’t have any pics of the pans but I can grab some measurements, they are just a standard metal baking pan but they fit perfect. I believe the Jim Bowe and Dan Boon are the...

Re: Where to get scrap for mig practice

Anywhere that does production laser/plasma/water jet cutting will have lots of skeletons from the sheets they have cut. It’s worth money as scrap but not much these days, expect to pay a little for...

I’m about to groove and sipe the tires on my tow rig. The tires I have on started off great from the factory but now that they are at half life I’m running into tread blocks that are tied together...

Re: Warn 16.5ti on 2008 Rubicon Earthroamer

I think you settled on the right solution. Had you tried to adapt it you may have run into mounting hole location issues as well, I know the 18k has a different mounting pattern, not sure about the...

    Re: new pellet smoker

I upgraded to a GMG just before Thanksgiving. So far I’m loving it, the cost of pellets will be my limiting factor with using it though, these things literally burn money! I’m working on a group buy...

Re: Headlamps NSF vs CAPA vs OEM

I passed a guy the other day that had all of his fancy LED lights blaring. There was enough light being emitted form that jeep that I was seeing bright spots after he passed, and it was the middle of...

Re: Headlamps NSF vs CAPA vs OEM

I put some ebays on my dodge a few years ago, same bright and dark spot complaint but $80 for both was hard to beat and it’s not like the OEM lights from Dodge were any good anyway.

That’s a bad day. I suspect there’s more to the story than just 38’s though, maybe a little air time?
  14. Re: Alignment shop vs Suspension system install shop help

Did you ever get this resolved? Adjusting the length of lower control arms on a Jeep is about the easiest alignment adjustment there is. It’s about a 10 minute job if the Jeep is already on the lift....

did you look into whether or not 4lo deactivates the air bags? It does in jeeps. Can’t speak for abs but not sure why you’d want it disconnected, I’ve never wheeled with ABS but it seems it wouldn’t...

Re: Do not use Safelite for Glass replacement

Regarding OEM glass, if you’re getting a $200 windshield it’s not OEM and everyone is probably buying them from the same place in China. Safelite will do OEM but in Co you’ll probably brake it in a...

    Re: 220V oultet need wired

Took another look at your pic, you’re going to want a bigger box, one of the deep 4x4 square ones, not the 2x4 rectangular. That’s a big plug and some thick stubborn wire that you need to shove in...
