Here is the end result from swamping and hydrolocking my jeep a couple months ago. Friday morning a rod finally let go on my way to work.

Got to do a little more work recently. First on the list was replacing the old, dirty O2 sensor.

I dropped from 188 to 162 between mid July and now. I got rid of the ice cream, peanut butter, soda pop, beef and pork. I've been eating a lot of egg whites and chicken breasts. I've found that...
Working in a body shop has allowed me to see several of both vehicles, and I would take the Ford hands down. Main reason being is that the Toyota has a plastic bed, which does not like being loaded...
Earlier in the summer I bought a set of retreads from tirerecappers.com The price was more than fair, and they ship free with the purchase of 4 or more tires. I went for the All-Star MTs. They were...
I've done a few sketchy fixes. I was driving one of my old VW rabbits down a dirt road in the dark on my way back from a fishing trip. Hit a big bump and the battery bucked and the old corroded...
I'm just gonna leave this here...
The drive to work went well- Prior to the repairs my temps would hover between 210 and 220 no matter what speed I was at. Now I stay around 180-185.

Anyone else get to see the hail storm in Castle Rock last Thursday? KDVR has some good pictures up of it. I was at work in Centennial at the time it happened, but I got to see the aftermath. The...
I noticed on that diagram that the domelight ties into the other power supplies.
A cordless 3/4" impact gun is really handy!
If you can shoot me a message with your email address before I leave work at 5:15ish I will send you the diagram for the radio/clock wiring.
A piece of broomstick or dowel turned down to size works pretty well. Make the tip skinny, then pound it through the old clutch disc to stamp the splines into the wood.
Should be 2 fuses for that circuit- one in the cab and one under the hood.
Progress has been slow with moving to Castle Rock and all. No new upgrades yet, but I did have to replace the ignition lock cylinder last week. I went out to the Jeep after work and the key would...

Also, if you go the JY engine route it is well worth your time to bring a battery, jumper cables, and compression tester. Then you can hot wire the starter and check for obvious...
We had a 2012 in the shop recently and it was junk. No 4 low, huge rims that barely leave any room for suspension travel, and less ground clearance than your average Subaru.
Just Everyone Else's Parts.
HDPE seems to be the way to go- it's used as a plywood replacement in marine applications....
How did this turn out for you?
That 69 is begging someone to throw a GM FF14 and a Dana 60 under it... :)
Were the RE control arms fixed or adjustable?
I would take a 2001.5 to 2004 as long as it has the upcountry package with the 4.7 HO. I think 02 is when they ditched the mechanical fan.
