That's interesting.
We used to go to the designated area SW of Red Feathers until the Cameron Peak fire, now we go to Wyoming up by Snowy Range. If you want to stay in CO I'd go up to Cherokee Park area. Another area...
I should do that with my RV.
Almost everything in the area is scheduled to close on December 1, it usually does take the FS a few days to get all the gates closed though.
Tentatively Nov 4th.
Personally I think almost the entire route has great views, except for Coney past the big water crossing. Maybe it was because you were so focused on the obstacles. IMO it is the best two roads on...
Most people belly out on it, if they even get up on it.
Next time try the far right line at The Chutes.
Been wanting to run those plus 10 Falls for a while now.

I saw a post on Facebook that TrailsOffroad ran Barbour Fork with the FS to clear trees and open it. Made it seem like they were now adopting it and Devil's Canyon.
i plan on running ti on the 29th. The left side doesn't look too bad now either.

Ran both on Saturday with the FS. Kelly Flats will open on May 15th and Moody Hill on June 15th.
Kelly Flats will open on the 15th.
I would have went but my club is working with the FS to check the conditions of our adopted roads this weekend to see if they can be opened as scheduled.
Traffic on this site has always been low...

I haven't run a traditional hook in years. I have a Flat Link on my JKUR and just an open loop on my buggy.

My club attempted the ones in orange/red last month, didn't get far. On 182 we made it just past the intersection with 315. On 314 we only made it about half way to the intersection with 315. On...
I am pretty sure they are not keeping the current location.
