I recall that insane downhill pitch off Red Cone. I was on a dirt bike. I have never been so scared in my life.
So a friend just moved here (Conifer area) from Utah and wants to run a trail next Saturday- preferably a slightly scenic one. Up 285 or 70 is fine. I'm pretty familiar with the Moab and Ouray area...
Haha...thanks Jayson44! I still have red-dirt trails coming out of a few spots when I wash it. I am pretty meticulous about keeping it clean and waxed but I see Moab dirt as heaven dirt...it gives...
Ton, that is awesome! Amazing pictures and looks like fun...may have to do this later in the year with a couple of folks.
2014 JKUR with 35" MTRs...no complaints. 37s looks much better on a 4-door but 35s do everything I need them to so I guess I will stick with them.

I like this setup too- I have the heavy-duty hinge and the carrier (35s). I am trying to do a Rotopax setup without using the TeraFlex accessory mount and hi lift.
Hey Bryan, let's chat. I may need some repairs on my asphalt shingle roof. I'm in Littleton/Ken Caryl. Will message you my # if I can. Otherwise, just post back here. I'll check every day.
Yeah, which is why I will go during the week, and roll into Saturday. :)
Extremely unlikely, from what I hear.
Love that area...as long as I can go slow and stop to soak in the scenery. Thinking early July for sure.
Desperately looking for at least the flange that comes off the rear of the t-case for the TWO door JK. The 4-door JK's flange/yoke will not work. I'd be willing to buy the full shaft and/or both...
My 4Runner has ben relegated to non-wheeling trips and DD duties ever since I got my Rubicon. Was never a Jeep fan, but now I am and probably will stick with them even though I don't like any of...
I have 3 inch Synergy springs I just took off to replace with the EVOs. There was no difference, sadly...wasted money. In fact, I probably prefer the progressive fronts the Synergy springs have. ...
My ride is too firm with the 5100 and so the Elkas are my next option. I think RK (at least their 2.5 springs) and EVO make the softest springs. Are you running the Elkas with RK springs right now?...
Nice! I used to have a RK 2.5 X Factor (mid/short arm) but am now running all Rokmen arms, EVO Plush Ride springs (3") and just ordered my Elka reservoir shocks. Will have to meet up sometime.
Didn't get them directly from him but my lift installer did...am sure I paid a nice markup. They sure seem smooth and I ended up getting a 1310 for the front and a bigger 1350 for the rear (2012...
Awesome collection!
I have c-rated 32 KMs on my Jeep. I am switching to 35s and am moving to MTR Kevlars. I love the KMs off-road. I have not encountered a place where they do not do well. However, I do not like...
Well, I decided on my changes, after talking to Bach Crawlers. Going with the Rock Krawler 2.5 X Factor suspension with RRD Emulsion shocks, an Offroad Evolution axle sleeve/gusset kit, matte black...
Oh, I also like Rock Krawler but have not found a local good dealer/installer for RK. That is my other choice.
I am considering waiting for the 2.5" Metalcloak lift but if not, here are my thoughts for my 2012 JK (2-door) Rubicon Auto.:
Old Man Emu 2.5" (light-med) springs and shocks (could swap with AVE...
Leaving Thu morn (4/18) and returning on Sun (4/21). If anyone is going to be there then, shoot me an email or post here. I'll do Top of the World, Fins 'n Things, maybe Seven Mile Rim, and am...
I am heading out there with my girl in April (18-21). Fin n Things is a must. Given that my 2-door Rubicon is stock, are there some you guys would highly recommend? I think I will stay away from...
