The trail head to pickle is near Gilpin county school on 119 north of black hawk. Take the turn west just north of the school, then the next left and it dead ends at the trail head.

Few guys gunna try and make the connections from pickle gulch, apex, to yankee from the north. Pretty determined. Expecting pockets of deep snow and winching. All welcome to join.

Will be tough but careful approach, good line choice and maybe stack a rock or two and it can be done. Do you have a winch? Take a buddy vehicle Heck might be able to go as well.
