Well, you're second in line... I'll let you know how it goes.

And I need to update the profile I guess. The TJ has moved on. Thanks, though.

Free! CO2 tank - Onboard Air Project?

Given to me, but it looks like I won't be using it.

    So, passing it along.

    8" diameter, 28" tall.

What do you want for nothing?

    :)

Took a trip up to Jenny Lake. Fun in the dark with a one ton truck. :-)

Arrived to cold, cloudy, rainy skies. The clouds parted around midnight, right in time for the moon to set and give us nice...

Re: For those who are interested in HAM radio

I've got a Kenwood TM-V71A in the truck, and can hit repeaters in Denver, Squaw Mtn, Mt. Thorodin, Centennial Cone, and even Leadville from Cripple Creek.

A ~lot~ has to do with the antenna you...

Re: Ham radio class - FREE

Jim, for optimum performance you'd want to have your antennas 'tuned' to whatever frequency range (or band) you're using. There are some ham antennas that cover more than one band. The one on my...

Re: Ham radio class - FREE

Sure thing, Chris. It's another hobby to drain your paycheck... haha

There's a ~ton~ of repeaters in this area. 145.145 is a pretty active rag chew frequency. There are plenty of others, though.

Hope you scored a programming cable, too. Those Chi-net radios can be a bugger to program from the keypad.

Re: made a mistake via craigslist

Yep, the misfire will kill the cat. But that's a result, not a cause, of the failure.

And the misfire will allow unburned fuel into the exhaust, which is your HC failure.

    And the additional...

  21. Re: Do we have a 7.3 Ford Powerstroke mechanic on here

Boy, that's odd. If the MIL came on, it'd should have set a code in memory. That memory will clear itself if, after a certain number of key cycles, the problem does not recur. I just don't remember...
  22. Re: Do we have a 7.3 Ford Powerstroke mechanic on here

Hmm, is it tuned? Does it act up when returned to stock? A lot of performance 'tunes' can cause out of parameter operating conditions which can lead to codes.

Most of those tuner/code readers can...
