My balcony was bare a few days ago.
  2. Re: "Why Inclinometers Are Cool And Which Ones To Buy"

Your inclinometer tends to get out when needed most, a backup can't hurt.

    Re: Rotated images test

I sure appreciate you taking a swing at it, and I'm inclined to agree with you about v4.
  4. Re: "Why Inclinometers Are Cool And Which Ones To Buy"

I run an inclinometer and have had my center of mass calculated to know my rollover angles. 3R in Denver (https://3rauto.com/) will measure your center of mass and calculate your rollover angles for...

    Re: Rotated images test

Also, for kicks I'm going to test upoading an image from my ipad that is quite small, to see if it bypasses the image resizing library and maybe just works. Not expecting much, but worth a test.

    Re: Rotated images test

Thanks for the version number Jim. If we're on 4.2.5 then ImageMagick alone wouldn't fix it (as we can see) but at least it means the software is available on the server to fix it. Do we have the...

    Re: For Your Amusement

That is genius. You need to start a backups tips'n'tricks post, I'd love to hear other good ideas people have. Beats keeping them in a box in the back of my rig.

    Re: Rotated images test

GD says they will never fix the rotation issue, because the bug was around for so long that people have worked around it themselves, basically depending on the bug so now they can never fix it. ...

    Re: For Your Amusement

I'm always worried about that myself even though I've never had it happen. I carry a spare when I'm wheeling just in case, which I bet makes most folks chuckle.

    Re: Rotated images test

Reading a bit more into this as I've done some imaging software in the past, the specification Apple uses is plain old Exif (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exif) buuuuut, vbulletin doesn't support...

    Re: Rotated images test

As I read it, there are 3 image rendering library options for vBullitin, only one of them supports the apple rotation flag. If that is the case, i can understand why vBullitin devs don't want to...

Re: Mellow wheeling at Bunce this weekend

Crap, I'm not in. I forgot, tomorrow I have to do my high risk activity and go down to Boulder Target pharmacy, where other sick people are bound to be, to pick up the one damned medication for my...

Re: Mellow wheeling at Bunce this weekend

I had read it as legal as well, was just installing my CB antenna today so I could chat with others on our next run without getting out of my truck.

    Re: Rotated images test

    Re: Rotated images test

Max talked me into finally getting a decent CB, haven't gotten around to mounting the antenna yet though, need to find a nice way to route the cable. Could be this weekends project.

Re: March Anniversary Run - The Gulches (3/28)

If it happens Saturday I'd stay in my vehicle the whole time to be safe, but I'd also be fine with delaying until we can be a bit more social.
