Re: Pickle Gulch 11/12
nice to meet you guys yesterday, even if it was unplanned. :)
Canyon decided that the park sounded like more fun that hitting up more trail, so we hit the slide a few times after you guys went on up the hill.
Only pics I took were of the trail damage there at the first open space.

Re: Pickle Gulch 11/12
Tank you all for the birthday wishes.
Was a good time for sure.
Jason- hope the work done will slow folks down.
For the other on the foarm, we say 3 Cherokee run up the off trail streatch at the medow....they trashed it big time.
This area has been get trashed big time.
So with in 29 minutes we had just about every dead tree in the area drug accross this by pass.
Not just at the top or bottom.
It's the entire thing. Hope it slows the damage.

Too bad you weren't able to get license plate numbers. It is nimrods like those who will get our trails shut down for good.

Re: Pickle Gulch 11/12
Ya Jason would have been the one to get the plates.
We did spend a half hour dragging around trees.
The "bypass" is not really passable now.

Re: Pickle Gulch 11/12
I didn't get any pics, but it was a beautiful day with some good wheeling. It was really nice to meet everyone that was out last Sunday! Looking forward to wheeling with all of you again soon.
I also think that it's worth noting that the major "hill obstacle" bypass is becoming less of a bypass and more of a fun and tippy obstacle of its own, especially when you're coming down! Seems the trail has experienced some heavy traffic and a decent amount of erosion in the past few years since I ran it.
