I found this interesting. For those of you who may be working on stuck bolts in the future!
I would be hesitant to rely on the plexiglass portion. While intriguing to watch, acrylic has a lot of chemical compatibility issues which could be why some went through and some did not. Some chemicals may cause softening and/or swelling while others cracking and/or permeation losses. With the nature of the composition of these products, there almost has to be resistivity issues.
