Chevy Dana 44 Caster Angle?

[INDENT]Does anyone know what the correct caster angle is for a 1978 Chevy K20 Truck with a Dana 44 (3" axel tube) is.

I have seen 4* positive and 8* positive. My truck is at 2* positive right now and I think this is the reason it wanders ALL over the raod.:eek:

ive heard the same, i see your crossovered for steering awesome! ibelieve your just rut hunting do to tire size and light vehicle weight. but on the same note im heavier than your w/ the same tires ???
might need to rotate tires,i do know that our alignment does not "snow plow" our tiresare out by a 1/16 inch i have mine at 0 maybe this will help???

Thanks for the input. My blazer with the crossover steering does not get driven on the road. I was asking for my tow rig (1983 K3500 with a Dana 44 swapped in place of the orignal Dana 60). The tire wear pattern is good but the steering wanders all over the road. I will try 8* positive caster and see how it handles an go down from there.
