Our trails are Barbour Fork which is the more challenging of the two: Barbour Fork
And Devil's Canyon, a much more stock friendly trail:
(Sorry no link here, I haven't figured out traildamage's new site yet and trailsoffroad doesn't have this one yet)
Bring buckets, trash bags, gloves!! You never know what we may run into that we will have to haul out, so use your imagination and bring whatever you think may help!! I've heard that kitty litter scoops are pretty handy for getting trash out of fire pits.
Dress for the Colorado mountains!! Long pants and sleeves are advised, as well as bug spray and sunscreen, hat, sunglasses etc.
Dont forget to bring a lunch as each group will stop along the trail to eat.
I always look forward to these clean-up runs since these runs are a great place to meet other members and actually spend a little time getting to know them as we make stops along the trail to clean up campsites, shooting areas etc. Hope to see everyone out there, the Forrest Service could not keep trails open if not for the hours put in by people like us to keep them cleaned up and beautiful for everyone to enjoy!! So come join us, get to know some of the other members of this group, wheel one of our 2 beautiful trails, and be proud that a group you're a part of maintains these 2 trails. We cannot adopt trails without participation in these runs, and it's our obligation as responsible wheelers to do our small part for the Colorado wheeling community, and to show the general public that Front Range 4x4 is the best group around and takes volunteering on our trails seriously.
